These are our Rat terriers. They are similar to Russel terriers but are calmer. I breed these dogs in my home and they are well socialized by the time they are ready to leave. I am a registered breeder and all dogs have papers and history. Some say Rat terriers are a best kept secret. They are fun loving, loyal, intelligent dogs and are very alert and love attention. Rats are always ready to play and can be very funny getting spurts of energy, then lay around and watch TV with you. They can be rough and tumbly and at the same time be a loving companion.
